the older i grow the more i distrust the familiar doctrine that age brings wisdom...

yeah, the big 25 came and went.

with the passing of the 23rd of September in the two-thousandth and sixth year of our Lord i came one more year closer to being able to date a 30 year old.

...

i'm not fully there yet. and i don't think i'll be able to squarly deal with that idea for another year, because we all know that's why 27 is so special, but either way, i am glad to have made it to 26.

looking back, i'm sure i have not deserved such a wonderful chance in this place.

i mean, i do a lot of stupid stuff.

...

but fortunately He has had the grace to bestow chance after chance and learned lesson after learned lesson upon me.

for that, i am trully thankful!

i suppose i am thankful for a lot, in hindsight.

...

and am indepted to many a pound-of-flesh i don't know if i can ever repay.

to my friends, my loving parents, everything and everyone who didn't kill me in the process.

so, i hold up a glass to you!

everyone, cheers!

plus, my team-mates got ma a cake!

i mean, it tasted terrible (the Chinese are clueless when it comes to confectionary treats)...

...

plus, they spelled my name 'UEV'...

but really, it's the thought that counts!

Dear guy,
I thought your name was Bacuum all this time. Come to find that its with a "V" not a "B". If you only had a buck for everytime that happened...

anyway, for your birthday I bought a 40 for you, should I send it? Its your favorite, from "A" Beer Man (not sure if its kosher to spell out) back on academy and union. It'll be in my fridge if you want it... whenever...

do they eat a lot with chopsticks? because if they do, i think it would be really hard to eat birthday cake with chopsticks...maybe that's why pastries aren't their forte ;o)
